Essential Items for PSAT Test Day
- Fully Charged Device: If using a personal device, make sure the required application is installed and setup is complete before test day.
- Power Cord and/or Portable Charger: Outlets may not be available; ensure your device holds a charge for 3–4 hours.
- Pencil or Pen: Draft paper will be provided; personal paper is not allowed.
- Approved Calculator: The testing app has a built-in graphing calculator, but you may bring your own.
- External Mouse: Optional for comfort and efficiency.
- External Keyboard: Allowed only for tablets (not laptops).
- Approved Photo ID: Required for homeschooled students or if testing at a different school.
Optional Items
- Watch: Must not have alarms.
- Backup Batteries: For calculators or other allowed devices (cannot be on desk during the test).
- Bag or Backpack: For storing personal items.
- Snacks and Drinks: Only for use during breaks.
- Epinephrine Auto-Injector (e.g., EpiPen): Allowed without special accommodations. Must be stored in a clear bag and kept under the desk during testing.
- Other Medical Devices or Medications: Contact the Services for Students with Disabilities (SSD) office for approval.
